Chief Executive Officer

Shri.K.MURUGAIAH, B.E., is the Chief Executive Officer of Karpagam Institutions. A Member of the Board of Management of Karpagam Charity Trust he joined the Trust as Administrative Officer and since 1994, has been designated as the Chief Executive Officer. A Gold Medallist from the Madras University, his efforts have always been instrumental in taking Karpagam to greater heights. Currently, he is administering nine Educational institutions of the Trust namely, Karpagam University, Karpagam Polytechnic College, Karpagam College of Engineering, Karpagam College of Education, Karpagam College of Pharmacy, Karpagam Teacher Training Institute, Karpagam Nursing College, Karpagam Institute of Technology and Faculty of Medicine (Medical College). As a steering committee member, he was responsible in co-coordinating the National Academic Accreditation Council works and getting the coveted Five Star status for Karpagam Arts and Science College and also for getting Autonomous status. He has also worked as a steering committee member in coordinating the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) process for Engineering and Polytechnic college. He continues to be the Chief Coordinator for all the Inspection committee visits organized in the institutions.

As a keen advisor, Mr.K.Murugaiah's expertise is always solicited for creative and constructive implementation of various new techniques in teaching-learning process and other academic activities in all the institutions. A Project coordinator for various UGC funded projects, he is the Governing council member of all the educational institutions. Mr.K.Murugaiah is known for his cordial support with higher officials of the State and Central Government and Private Sector. His exposure and expertise in the theoretical and practical aspects of engineering are highly revered. A consultant for various textile Industries in Coimbatore and Dindugal districts, Mr.K.Murugaiah's consultancy expertise has resulted in the construction of more than 25 lakhs square feet of Textile Industry and 15 lakhs square feet of Educational institutions. His engineering and administrative acumen will continue to be a guiding force to every Karpagam institution.
