ABOUT THE SEMINAR
The main objective of this programme is to tap the potential and innovations from the learning minds and to find appropriate solutions for the existing challenges in the area of renewable energy and the environment and thereby transmitting the ideas for the development of the community.
To accomplish this objective, papers are invited in the following topics.
EXHIBITION
We are also happy to inform that we have planned to exhibit portable working models fabricated by the students and participants related to renewable energy and the environment during the days of symposium at our premises, so as to encourage and there by enhance the practical skills of the polytechnic students. The student participants can make use of this opportunity for sharing their expertise and knowledge in the field of renewable energy and the environment. We request the Heads of Institutions/Principal to encourage their students to participate in the exhibition.
Interested candidates may be instructed to register their name with the list of exhibits through the Principal / Head of the Institution concerned. Best two exhibits will be rewarded

Wind energy for urban electric needs
Necessity of energy auditing for domestic and industrial consumers
ENVIRONMENT
Green house gas emission and inventories
Pollution free alternative fuel for automotives

GUIDELINES
Two copies of abstract of the paper not exceeding 300 words and two copies of manuscript not exceeding 3000 words with a CD is to be sent. Text in MS word with Times New Roman style, font size 11 for the text and 12 (bold) for the title with double line spacing is to be followed. Selected papers will be published in the proceedings.
PARTICIPATION
Students of Polytechnic colleges from all over India are eligible to participate in the programme. Each institution can delegate any number of papers with only two members/paper. Registrations can be sent by filling the registration forms so as to reach the Chief Co-ordinator on or before 22-1-2010.
