Placement & Training Cell

The Placement Cell plays a prominent role in creating job opportunities for the students who pass out from the college by keeping liaison with reputed firms and industrial establishments. The Placement Cell is functioning under a full time Placement officer who operates round the year to facilitate the contacts between students and industries. The number of students who are placed through the campus placements is on the rise. Many reputed industries visit the institute to conduct campus recruitments regularly.

Training:

A separate training department functions with a team of Aptitude, Analytical, Logical and English Trainers. The department focuses on the training requirements based on industry requirements and provides extensive training to students on different modules like English Communication, Aptitude Mathematics, Personality Development Programme and Technical Training by both internal and external faculty. During the Academic year 2007-08 the Department provided 137 man days of Internal Training, 110 Man days of External Training by Professional External faculty and 20 man days of Special Training especially for final year students. Regular tests were conducted in Aptitude Test which groomed the students for taking the Tests conducted by the Companies. 517 final year students were trained in the above modules which helped the students to face the interviews. Further the department orgranized training programme, tests for pre final year students on Aptitude and soft skills development.
